Ziemlich genau vor einem Jahr erschien heiß ersehnte vierte Studio-Album " Crash My Party " von Luke Bryan . Mit über 500.000 verkauften Exemplaren in der ersten Woche stieg es von-Null-auf-Eins in den Country- und Pop-Album Charts ein. Ein Jahr später hat es über 2 Millionen Stück verkauft und liegt nach wie vor in den Top-5 der Country Album Charts. Drei der bisherigen 4 Singles landeten auf Platz 1, lediglich der Titel-Track schaffte es nur bis auf Platz 2. Heute ist Luke Bryan einer der Superstars im Country und seinem bubenhaften Charme und umwerfenden Lächeln liegen die Frauen reihenweise zu Füßen. Da verzeiht man ihm auch, daß der Hüftschwung auf der Bühne zwar bemüht, aber nicht wirklich sexy ist; aber wahrscheinlich sehen das Frauen auch anders. Fast genau 2 Jahre ist es her, daß Jason Aldean sein letztes Album "Night Train" veröffentlicht hat. Damals gab es mit dem Song ' Take A Little Ride ' im Juli die erste Vorab-Single. Sie stieg auf Platz 12 der Billboard Top 100 Pop Charts ein und erreichte im Oktober (eine Woche vor Veröffentlichung des Albums) Platz 1 der Billboard Country Charts. Damit wurde ' Take A Little Ride ' der 8. Chart Topper für Jason Aldean. Genau wie damals gibt es auch heuer bereits im Sommer die erste Vorab-Single des für den Herbst angekündigten neuen Jason Aldean Albums. Allerdings sind seit dem letzten Album 2 Jahre vergangen und inzwischen spielt Jason Aldean in der Liga der Superstars, denen Stadien für ihre Live Shows nicht mehr zu gross sind. Und wer sich unter einem Country Star in einem Stadion Konzert nicht viel vorstellen kann, der schaue sich die Eröffnungssequenz aus seiner aktuellen Tour an, benannt nach der Vorab-Sinlge (und potentiellen Album Titel):

" When I first heard these lines on a (now lost and almost forgotten) cassette tape some 30 years ago, I was grabbed by the picture these words were painting in my mind. The coarse voice singing them was so different from anything that I heard heard before and they seemed such a perfect fit to the rough-looking, bearded guy with those steel-blue eyes on the cover of the tape. As this was long before the internet and the cassette tape did not hold much more information other than the track listing, it took a while to find out that the painter of this sonic picture ("Loving Her Was Easier [Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again]") was Kris Kristofferson .
